Michele Dietz

For more than twenty years, I have worked in Catholic health care and leadership formation, first within large health systems and now alongside them through my consulting practice.

Much of that experience has been shaped by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, who helped build and guide the institutions where I worked. Over time, I became increasingly interested in the habits, values, humor, and ways of being that shaped their leadership.

Lead Like a Sister grew from more than two decades of listening and learning, including fourteen in-depth interviews with Sisters whose lives helped me see those patterns more clearly. Stay Close emerged from that same body of work.

Today, I help leaders and organizations bring what matters most into practice.

I hold a doctorate in organizational leadership from Pepperdine University and live in Southern California. I write A Sister Said on LinkedIn and Stories That Stay on Substack.

Stay close.
